The "DDE server" data export module for our data loggers sends parsed data to other programs using the DDE technology. The plugin acts as a server. Other programs connect to the server and retrieve data for selected parser variables.
Using this data export module, you can use export data from any data interface, for example, a COM port
The plugin has the following peculiarities:
- It can export several parser variables at the same time to a separate topic.
- You may define format settings for standard data types/
- You may send data to a data interface using a special DDE topic.
Thanks to these possibilities, you can retrieve real-time data in your application (e.g., Excel).
