DNC and CNC setting for Fanuc 16T

Set the following parameters on the machine

In the 'SET' mode select manual input mode and set following parameters
IO CHANNEL	0
TAPE FORMAT	0
PUNCH CODE	1
TV CHECK	0

Please, select following mode 'Offset Setting -> System -> Parameter (setting) and set following parameters
#0000	0000 0010
#0020 (IO Channel)	0 (RS232)
#0100	0
#0101 (NFD)	1000 0001
#0102 (Device number)	0
#0103	9

If you want you can change baud rate in the parameter #0103 to:

1200	8
2400	9
4800	10
9600	11
19200	12

Set the following parameters on the PC

Serial port tab

Machine name	Fanuc 16T
Serial port	COM2 (or any free COM port)
Baud	2400
Data bits	7
Parity	Even
Stop bits	2

Use DTR	False
Use RTS	True
Require DSR	False
Require CTS	True
Set RTS	False
Set DTR	False
Software flowcontrol	None
Xon char	#11
Xoff char	#13

Data exchange format tab

Format mode	Uniform
Format parameters	Program start: % Program end: % Line start: Line end: #0A Skip lines: Ignore characters: No characters for remove Remove blank lines: No Program name prefix: O Program starting characters in the file: No Program ending characters in the file: No
